Dr.
V. Prodanov received a PhD degree in EE in
1997 from Stony Brook University, New York and joined Bell
Laboratories/Lucent Technologies after graduation. He was a Research PI
in Murray Hill, NJ and a Senior Member of Technical Staff in Allentown,
PA at Agere Systems, a spin-off of Lucent
Technology. He joined MHI Consulting in 2004 and became a partner in
2006. Dr. Prodanov has 12 issued and 12
pending patents. His technical interests are in the fields of analog IC
design and integrated RF systems.
Dr.
M. Banu received a PhD degree in EE from
Columbia University, New York in 1984. In
the same year, he joined Bell Laboratories,
Murray Hill, NJ, which had
sponsored his graduate studies. In 1995, he became Department Head of
an organization responsible for circuit design research and SiGe BiCMOS development, and
in 2000, he was appointed R&D Director to lead work on W-LAN transceivers
and RF power circuits. In 2004, Dr. Banu
founded MHI Consulting to pursue independent efforts in advanced IC
solutions. Dr. Banu is an IEEE Fellow and
among his technical contributions are the co-invention of MOSFET-C
filters (1986 IEEE Darlington Award), the co-invention of clock/data
recovery circuits for PON systems, and the invention of a widely used balanced
operational amplifier (1998 Lucent Patent Award).
