The Town & Country Hotel is located at 500 Hotel Circle North, San Diego, CA. Parking at the hotel is $8/day for hotel guests and $2/hour (not to exceed $10) for non-guests. The hotel features four restaurants, outdoor swimming pools, and a hot tub. For family fun visit Sea World and the San Diego Zoo.

Room rates are: Garden: $95/single, $110/double; East Tower: $115/single, $130/double; West Tower: $125/single, $140/double. To make hotel reservations, print out and complete the Housing Reservation Form and mail or fax: (619)291-3584 it to the Town & Country Hotel by APRIL 23rd to qualify for a room at our special rate. Check-in time is 3pm and check-out time is 12 noon.

You will receive a reservation confirmation directly from the hotel. It is the responsibility of each participant to make changes or cancellations directly with the hotel no later than 48 hours prior to scheduled arrival. No refunds will be given by the hotel for changes or cancellations with less than 48 hours notification.

Airline Discount Program

Special discounted airfares for the 1999 Custom Integrated Circuits Conference in San Diego, California, May 16-19, 1999 have been negotiated with Continental and United Airlines. Continental Airlines is offering a 10% discount off the lowest available super-saver fares, and a 13% discount off coach fares. United Airlines is offering a 5% discount off the lowest available super-saver fares, and a 10% discount off coach fares. If booked 60 days in advance, both airline carriers are offering an advanced booking incentive that increases the discount by an additional 5%. Where super-saver fares or Saturday night stays are not applicable, both Continental and United Airlines are offering zone fares.

Discounted airfares are also available on other airline carriers. Please call IEEE Travel Services for availability. Some restrictions apply and airfares are guaranteed to be the lowest available at the time of ticketing. Travel arrangements using the designated air carriers, or the carriers of your choice can be made through IEEE Travel Services by calling (800)TRY-IEEE, (800-879-4333) within the US and Canada. Outside of the US and Canada, call (732) 562-5387 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:30p.m. EST. Monday through Friday. If you prefer you can e-mail us at travel-team@ieee.org. Airport Transportation

Located in Mission Valley, the Town & Country Hotel is six miles from San Diego's Lindberg Field Airport. Cloud Nine Shuttle provides shuttle service from the airport to the hotel. Call 619-278-8877 for a pick-up. The cost is $8.00/one way. Taxi service is also available from the airport at an estimated cost of $15.00.
